The new 3.2-liter engine's power output has been raised to 349 bhp at 6100 rpm from 215 bhp at 5700 in the normally aspirated version. Peak torque of 332 lb.-ft. comes at 4400 rpm, of which 90 percent is available from 2300 to 6100 rpm. Only 5.1 seconds is needed for theAMG to accelerate from a standstill to 60 mph.
